土砂降りで雷の鳴る悪天候の中、宿から近場で夕飯を済まそうと駅に向かって早歩き。
新潟駅内は多くの飲食店がありますが、このお店のあるブロックは初めてでした。
早々に閉まっていくお店がある中、こちらのお店はまだ1時間以上は大丈夫との事でしたので
お邪魔する事にしました。夕飯時にそんなに時間かける気もないけど、
急かされたり焦ったりは嫌ですものね。
カウンター席に着き、注文したのは、かきのもとの天婦羅、栃尾の揚げ。
飲物は瓶ビールをオーダー。
お通しは2品の内どちらか選べるとの事でしたが、店員さんの言葉が聞き取れたのが‟鰤カマ”だったのでこれをチョイスする事にしました。（聞き直しても良かったのですが‥。）
実はこれが大当たり、とても美味しかった。
圧力鍋を使ってるのかな？身は良く味が染みてとてもしっかりとしているのに
骨はポロポロに柔らかく、軽く噛むだけで解れて崩れていく。これとても旨いです。
ここは蕎麦屋さん、最後に何か蕎麦を…と、注文したのは、菊花玉子とじ蕎麦。
またまた かきのもと です。
届いた逸品は黄色と紫の彩の間に舞茸が沈む一杯。
蕎麦はどちらかというと柔らかくコシよりも味といった美味しさ。
鰹出汁の味を卵がとてもマイルドに仕上げてるのも特筆所。
少々とろみを感じるのも良い。
時折蕎麦と一緒にかきのもとが口に入ってくると食感の変化を楽しむことができる。
美味しかったです。
