巷では玉子で綴じないカツ丼が流行っているらしく、気になっていましたが新潟市内では余り見かけません。
かつやさんで期間限定ですが、綴じないカツ丼が販売されているのを知り、食べに来ました。
ふわたま白カツ丼・梅(650円)をいただきました。
なるほど、確かにフワフワ食感な玉子で、白だしの風味と旨味を感じます。
上品な味わいですね。
トンカツは玉子で綴じていないので、サクサク食感を楽しめます。
玉子もカツも両方美味いんです…が、一体感は無いんですよね。
逆に玉子とじのカツ丼ってのは凄い発明だったんだなぁ…と改めて認識しました。
