2014年最後のレビューで、新潟県の300レビュー目になります。
新潟では、お正月ではなく、大晦日の日にお寿司・すき焼き・蟹といったご馳走を食べる、という風習があります。
新潟のお持ち帰り寿司屋さんで一番売上が上がる日は12月31日だそうです。
なので、やはり12月31日のレビューはご馳走でしめきゃ、ということで、こちらのお店。
新潟市のシンボル萬代橋のたもとに2013年1月に竣工した高さ105メートルの新潟日報本社ビル(通称メディアシップ)の最上階にあるお店。信濃川のほとり、眼下に広がる新潟の夜景を見ながら、鉄板焼を食べるという趣向のお店です。多分新潟だと一番綺麗な夜景が見れる場所だと思います。
プリプリの蟹がサラダ仕立てで出てきたり、牡蠣などのシーフードが透明な耐熱フィルムに包まれて出てきて目の前でグツグツと調理されるなど、料理を目でも楽しませてくれます。
やはり美しいのは、サシがしっかり入った赤い肉の塊りと黒い夜景のコントラスト。これは最高に映えますね。
味的には値段なりの内容ではありますが、非常に美味しいお料理でした。結婚記念日などには、良いお店だと思います。
