眺めは地域で一番かもしれない。
駅前楽天地で明るいうちから飲んでみたい。
オリーブが午後3時からやっています。というわけでオリーブへ。4時半ごろ到着。
1Fのカウンターには、新潟クラフトビールの陣のチラシを眺めつつ
飲んでいるお客さんが4人くらい既にいました。
2Fの手前の2人席に案内されましたが、奥の窓側へ強引に移動。すいません。
天井はこんな絵が描いてある。
ホタルイカのお通しとクラフトビール。
クラフトビール3種飲み比べセット。
クラフトビールはどれもクセがあって、かなり好みが分かれます。
苦いの、甘いの、香ばしいの。私は黒いのがおいしく感じました。
飲みなれていないので、日本酒を飲んだ時と同じような激しい酔いを覚えます。
普通のビール味が飲みたい場合は、普通のキリンの一番搾りを頼んでください。
前菜3種盛り。
パテドカンパーニュ、サーモン、チリビーンズ。チリビーンズが日本にないうまさ。
たぶんこれだろうと思って新潟駅の輸入商品屋ジュピターでタコスの素を買いました。
あまりに遅いので催促したフィッシュ＆チップス。約1時間、待った甲斐がありました。
ほにほにした白身フライ、さくっとしてあとひくスパイシーなフライドポテト、
そしてたっぷりのタルタルソース、ケチャップ。
新潟市内のフィッシュ＆チップスで一番うめえ。
でも腹がイッパイになるので、はしご酒には向かない・・・。
若い人たちはそうでもないんだろうけど・・・。
結論 眺めはプライスレス。
2014年5月4日日曜日午後5時ごろ はれ 新潟市中央区弁天 ビアトリップオリーブにて
クラフトビールの店としてもメジャーですが、
そんなのはどうでもよくなるくらい、眺めが抜群でした。あと、めしもうまい。
