I visited this restaurant before I started using Tabelog. I think it was recently renovated, so I'm going back. This web page says that you can use the parking lot at Kamoyama Park, so I parked my car there and visited. The inside of the restaurant is, of course, cleaner than when I visited before. Ordering is done using a touch screen tablet. However, most customers called for a waiter. I'm an old man, but I like to show off, so I ordered using the touch screen, even though it was bland. This time I ordered the "A little luxurious kaiseki meal" for 1,958 yen. I think the last time I ate it, it was a kaiseki meal that came with a pudding as a bonus, so this time I added "Wasanbon pudding" for 418 yen to this. The kaiseki meal was: ・Kyoto yuba ankake rice At first, the bean paste feels a little salty, but when you combine the yuba and rice, it's just right. You can feel the umami of the yuba and it's delicious. However, the amount is very small. ・Sashimi The scallops are very delicious. The white fish is average. The tuna lean meat may be a little watery. ・Rice dish Nice with a refined taste. ・Kambara beef Steak This is beef full of umami. I'm satisfied with this, but I think young people will want to eat more! ・ Fried food Tempura with a light batter is exactly the taste of a traditional Japanese restaurant. ・Pickles The amount is large but delicious. That's the content and impressions. Oh, by the way, the miso soup had clams as an ingredient, and it tasted good, but the sand was not removed sufficiently. It's a bit disappointing. Next is the pudding, and "kuzumochi" is served at the same time as the pudding. It seems that it was a meal service on the day I visited. If that was the case, they should have told me. I didn't order pudding. The pudding has a sweetness that is typical of Wasanbon, and a moist texture. It makes you feel that it is a Japanese-style pudding. The complimentary kuzumochi is written in hiragana, so I thought it might be the Kanto-style kuzumochi, but it is transparent, so I think it is kuzumochi. This is so delicious that I can't believe it is a complimentary item. All in all, I was very satisfied with the meal. The problem was the drinks. It was like a drink bar. But the iced coffee, it said it was slightly sweetened. I guess it was to save on sugar syrup, but I don't add sugar to iced coffee. I think there was also apple juice. Of course there was water, but the only hot drink was roasted green tea. At the very least, I wish they served green tea with the dessert after the meal. This is a proper Japanese Cuisine restaurant, so I'm sure they would know what goes well with a Japanese-style dessert. This is disappointing.
