March 2023 Café-hopping 2nd place. A cafe renovated from a 90-year-old clinic. When I opened the front door, a staff member was on the left, in what I thought was the clinic's reception desk. I was told to sit wherever I wanted, so I looked around. There was a symbolic tree in front of me. There was a bookshelf on the trunk of the tree, and I could see various rooms on both sides of the tree. The tables and chairs were very nice. The mellow sound of the background music was pleasant to the ears, and there were no miscellaneous goods or accessories overflowing, creating a clean & tidy healing space surrounded by white walls. I sat down at the table and looked at the menu. I ordered a set of cheesecake and herbal tea with rose hips as the main ingredient for 1,200 yen. It was said to be pesticide-free herbal tea produced in the prefecture. The cheesecake was not too sweet, was creamy and super delicious. As it was a former clinic, it was very soothing.
