駒形十吉記念美術館前に店舗を構えて、フランスパンを中心に食事に合わせたパンがチョイス出来るパン屋です。季節のお惣菜パンやお菓子もご用意しています。特徴は飾り気のないシンプルな配合で製パン理論を忠実に発酵と熟成を大切にしたパン作りにあります。例：毎日食べる食パンは、砂糖や卵、乳製品を控えた配合で旨みを引き出す発酵を重視してしっかりと焼く。バゲットは発酵熟成で旨みを引き出し塩分控えて。 |
長岡で人気のパン屋さん。最近までその存在さえしらなかったのですが行って見ると確かにお店の前に結構クルマが止まっててお客さんが入ってますね。
勝手なイメージで惣菜パンがメインなのかな？と思ってたら意外と菓子パンが多かったことにびっくり。逆に惣菜パンが少なかったです。お昼時間前だったからかな？
頂いたパンはキノコのフォカッチャ210円、ガーリックブレッツェル126円、カレーパン130円、プリングラタン158円です。
フォカッチャ、ブレッツェル、カレーパン共に控えめな味付けでパンそのものの味わいを感じます。ブレッツェルはちょっと好き嫌いが分かれそうですが・・・。
プリングラタンはプリン液を使ったパンプディングと言った感じ。シメのデザート感覚で頂きましたが想像以上にすごいボリューム、一回では食べきれない量でした。
普段の食事用の食パン、フランスパンや、ドイツパンなどもありパン好きの方にはお薦めのお店かもしれません。私的には小腹が空いた時用の菓子パンがお薦めかな。
