「シーフードカレー1210円＋蒸し牡蠣3ヶ1180円」
すっかり秋だ。農家から直接購入したシャインマスカットを食べて夏を回想する。枝豆もトウモロコシもゴーヤもたらふく食べた。先日食べ忘れていた鮎もいただいたし、いよいよ新米を待つか。…脳裏にひらめく忘れ物一つ。…岩ガキ、食べてないじゃん。
いかん、逃げていく夏を追って、急いで海の方向へドライブだ。せっかくだから未訪の店を探し、こちらの人気カフェへ。
蒸し牡蠣3ヶをオーダー。後はカレーランチと思ったが、本日のカレーが牛すじカレーだというので、シーフードカレー単品をオーダー。
蒸し牡蠣は生ガキより甘みが増して食感が軽くなり、ペロリペロリとあっという間になくなった。殻に残った汁も余さずいただく。うむ、我が夏完了。
シーフードカレーはスキレットに盛られてくるのでいつまでも熱々だ。イカ、エビ二種、ムール貝といった具で、レシピとしては特に変わったところが無いのだが、海産物の鮮度がいいから抜群に旨かった。特にイカがブリブリした食感で良かった。辛さは中辛程度。
