寺泊野積で、平日にもかかわらずあっという間に広い駐車場が埋まってしまう人気のカフェです。日本海の眺めと、お店のうりの「日本一のかにパスタ」目当てのお客さんがひっきりなしに訪れます。
玄関にあるディスプレーで、人数や希望の席などを打ち込んで順番の番号札を入手し、店員さんが迎えに来るのをお店の前か車の中で待ちます。この日は開店１０分前に着いたら４組目でした。お店は広いので余裕で入れます。
久しぶりに雲一つない青空が広がった日だったのでテラス席を希望。テラス席も喫煙ができるところやできないところなど３つのスペースに分かれています。屋根付きのテラス席を選んで座りました。テラスなのにもかかわらず、直射日光を遮れ、海風が気持ち良いいため、最高のロケーション。
私は生ハムとトマトとチーズのピザ（レギュラーサイズ、単品なら１２５０円）をサラダとドリンクとデザート付きのセット（＋５５０円）を、ツレは日本一のかにパスタ（単品なら１４５０円）のセットを注文。
ピザは生地が厚いナポリ風。しっとりとし、チーズの塩味がほどよく、コーラと一緒にいただきました。ツレのパスタは蟹の足ものっていて、身をほじくり出してパスタに絡めて食べていました。ソースにもかにの風味がたっぷりとついているので、おいしそうでした。
デザートはチョコバナナケーキ。この後、魚の市場にいって浜焼きなどを見て回りましたが、もうお腹いっぱいで食べられませんでした。
とにかくロケーションとスタッフの方々のにこやかな接客が最高で、気持ちよく過ごせる海辺のカフェでした。
