通りに面したお店の入り口に「ラーメン」というのぼりは出ていますが、玄関には店名を書いた看板がありません。のれんがかかっていて、かたわらに「営業中」という小さな札があるだけ。知らないと入りづらいお店ですが、カウンター６席、小上がりにテーブル２つの狭い店はいつも満席。
順番待ちも店内でします。狭いのでちょっと大変。待っている間に注文をしておきます。
メニューは壁にかかった板書き。一番高いのがカツカレーと五目焼きそばの６５０円。あとは５００円から６００円程度です。
タンメン（税込み５００円）を頼んで待つこと５分余り、小上がりが空いたのが相席で座ります。それからタンメンが出てくるまで４５分！ 先客１２と満席だったので大変なのでしょうが、こんなにかかるとは思わなかった。
細い縮れ麺は白っぽく、加水が多くてつるんとした食感。するするとしたのど越しです。スープはあっさりして野菜の旨みもあります。野菜の量も麺も、通常の1.5倍ほどあるでしょうか。スープは飲みきれませんでした。
味は悪くはありませんが、それよりも、その量と安さ、出てくるまでの時間の長さ、看板がないというお店の構えといった特徴が強烈なお店でした。
