長岡市の老舗食堂「船場（せんば）」さん。
THE町の食堂で地元民や県民に愛されてきたお店。特にこちらの看板メニューでもある、
サッポロ900円
は、独自の味を守り抜いてきた逸品。サッポロというあまり見慣れないメニュー名からもわかる通り、味噌ラーメンが人気。オーナー家の方であろうオバちゃまの仕切りがお見事で、受注から厨房オーダー、配膳、下善、お会計にわたり厨房＆アルバイトさんと連携が凄まじい‼︎大人しく、オーダー聞かれるまでお利口に座り、じっと待つのである…。
新潟五大ラーメンのひとつに新潟濃厚味噌ラーメンがある。西蒲区のこまどりさん発祥で、他にもラーメン東横さんなどが有名。船場さんの味噌ラーメンも濃厚ではあるけど、いわゆる新潟濃厚味噌ラーメンのジャンルではない。麺は細麺でさほど縮れてはおらず。スープはこまどりさんほど味噌MAXではなく、東横さんほどマイルドではない。ちょうど両者の中間の味わいという印象。具沢山の野菜は新潟濃厚味噌ラーメン寄りな感じ。そして、船場さんの味噌ラーメンは…

長岡市は県内でも豪雪地帯。寒冷地仕様の塩っぱさと熱さに、ノスタルジーを感じざるを得ません。笑
