江戸時代から続く老舗中の老舗です。
三階建ての三階にある80畳の大広間には100名を収容して宴会ができるとのこと。同じ三階には20畳の中広間、二階にも20畳の中広間と、カフェがあり、その他に幕末、長岡藩総督の河井継之助が新政府軍との慈眼寺会談に望んだ後、昼食をとったと言われる座敷があります。
