蟹が1/2匹入っているパスタは看板メニューですが、そこまで優れているとは思いませんでした。その理由は3点あります。
1つ目、食べにくい。蟹の身が全て取り出していないため自分でほぐす必要があるのですが、殻の多くの部位にソースが付いているため、身をほぐすと必然的に手が汚れます。
2つ目、ソースが単調。通常の蟹パスタでは蟹の身とソースを絡めて加熱することで、ソースに蟹の旨味を行き渡らせて作るのですが、このお店にはそれがありません。アメリケーヌのような複雑さがないのです。
3つ目、蟹の質。ではソースと分離されている蟹の旨味は強いのかというとそんなこともありません。ベニズワイなので水っぽく、これなら他のお店でワタリガニのパスタでも食べた方がいいのでは？という仕上がりです。
