道の駅とちおの中にある食道です。栃尾だからって油揚げしかないわけではありません。もちろん油揚げ定食というのはありますが、普通の道の駅のようにラーメンやそば、カレーなどがあります。
食券制で受付カウンター横の券売機で食券を買います。それをおばさんに渡して席で待ち、呼ばれたら取りに行く方式です。
天ぷらそば（税込み６５０円）を食べました。立ち食いそば屋と比べるとちょっと高い。具は粉が多い野菜のかき揚げとわかめ、ねぎ、かまぼこ５分の１切れ。つゆは濃い色をしています。これじゃあ、本当に立ち食い蕎麦屋さんと同じだと思っていたら、そばが意外と美味しかった。コシがあって弾力もある。つゆも少し甘めで、くどくない。かなり飲んでしまった。
接客に愛想がないのが玉に瑕ですが、そばは好きです。
