「オムライス三宝風1,078円」
ラーメンチェーンの「さんぽう亭・らーめん三宝亭」が県内外にたくさん展開しているが、こちらは和洋中のメニューがずらりとそろうファミレスの「三宝亭」だ。ラーメンに特化する前の業態で、このタイプの店は長岡市内ではここだけ。すべての年代に対応した豊富なメニューで、人気が高い。
自分のオムライス・コレクションのためにと来店。どんなオムライスを出してくれるのかな。おや、「三宝風」ときましたか。わくわく。タブレットじゃなく口頭オーダー。
スープ付きで登場。ケチャップとデミグラスソースの相掛け。トッピングにエビフライとタルタルソース。サラダも添えられている。こりゃあ、金沢ハントンライスだ。
サッパリしたケチャップサイド、旨みの深いデミグラスソースサイドの両方を楽しめるなんて、贅沢だ。こんなのを小学生の過去の自分に食べさせたら、腰を抜かすだろうなあ。あの頃は毎日、カブか大根の煮物と味噌汁だけだったもんなあ。時代は変わったなあ。地球温暖化はどんどん深刻さを増しているが、その分の対価も我々は十分享受している。
国土が沈没しつつある島しょ国の皆さまには申し訳ない。…次の買い替えは電気自動車にします。
