2018年1月 パスタランチ 税込1200円
新潟市から三条にかけて、災害レベルの大雪が降った翌日、大学センター試験受験中の皆さんが頑張ってる(長岡技科大)横を通り抜けて、青葉台へ昼食に出かけた。こちら、ハンバーガーのおいしいカフェと聞いている。夏などは気圧されるくらいのおしゃれ感があるが、雪が降っちまえばこっちのもんよ。豪雪長靴でドカドカと入店。机といすの種類がほぼ全席違う。そういうこだわりかあ。先客三組。駐車場が広くていいね。
ランチメニューは、パスタ、ハンバーガー２種類と、ワンランク上のランチコースが一つ。あいにくパンには興味がないもんで、一択のパスタランチをオーダー。ドリンクはコーヒーで。
サラダに豆が入っていて、食のトレンドを考えてる店だな、とわかる。
パスタは変化球。ショートパスタのフジッリで来たか。トマトとオリーブのソース。オリーブの味が強く、なかなか他で食べたことの無い風味。悪くないのだが、塩加減がやや強すぎだ。塩漬けオリーブの塩分が調味の想定以上だった感じ。二切れついた自家製パン？がおいしかった。(興味ないけど)
コーヒーを飲んでくつろぐ。壁や天井の素材のせいか、調理音や話し声が控えめに聞こえ、静かな空間が心地よい。子ども椅子があるので、ファミリー層もウェルカムな感じ。青葉台地区の数少ない飲食店、頑張ってほしい。夜も一度来ようっと。
