A bar and a famous curry restaurant
The area around the entrance to the restaurant is a bit cluttered, so it's hard to tell what kind of place it is, but it's a bar, as it is called a French bar. There is a menu outside, but it only has meat dishes for takeaway, so it was hard to know what kind of food they had inside the restaurant, so I've been waiting to see what it was like for the past few months. When I went in, I was surprised to see that they had third-world wines, and above all, a wide variety of curry dishes. It's worth going in. I was relieved when I saw the menu on the table. Among the curries, I ordered a combination of pork curry and green curry, called "Dream Half & Half" (850 yen including tax). This was delicious. The green curry was spicy with a tingling kick, and the pork curry was sour, giving it an adult taste. They put a layer of hard rice in the middle of a large plate like a dam, and poured two curries into the left and right sides, using the dam method. It was fun to eat without completely destroying the wall of rice. I also added a Greek drink, a coffee frappe (+150 yen). The creamy foam on top neutralizes the bitterness in your mouth after eating the curry. There are strips of menus posted all over the restaurant, and some of them are intriguing, such as Kurumafu Caramel, which makes you want to visit at night.

What's interesting about Melimelo is that it's a "French bar," but they also serve Ethnic Cuisine style dishes. I visited for lunch that day, and when I looked at the menu, I saw that they had gapao rice (850 yen including tax), so I ordered that. The curry-flavored pho (850 yen) also looked delicious. The seasoning of the gapao minced meat was impeccable. The texture was great and the amount was ample. On top of that, the rice was delicious. It was cooked on the firm side with no excess water, so even though it had soaked in the gapao sauce, it wasn't sticky, and I was able to enjoy it until the very end. I actually wanted to have a beer, but I'll have to wait until next time.
