ホテルニューオータニグループ「湯沢ニューオータニ」は創業49年の老舗ホテルです。

越後湯沢の宿泊は、いつも別のホテルが多いのですが、この日は初めてニューオータニさんに宿泊してみました。残念ながら、こちらのホテルは源泉を持たないので、お湯の質的には若干厳しいのですが、駅までの送迎など、スタッフさんのサービス品質はさすがだと思います。
朝食はバイキングなのですが、料理の種類も多く、中でも新潟グルメが多いのは良いと思いました。ついつい食べ過ぎてしまうのですが、、、
私がいただいた新潟グルメは、以下のとおりです。
イタリアン（焼きそばにトマトソース）
タレカツ、
のっぺ、
栃尾揚げ、
車麩、
きりざい納豆
中でも、きりざい納豆は初めて食べましたが、「切り菜」というだけあって、細く刻んだ野菜が納豆と和えてあって、美味しかったです。
それと外してならないのが、ホテルカレーです。
ビーフたっぷり、じっくり煮込まれた本格カレーは、これを食べるだけで、朝食代の元が取れた気になります(^^)
