今日は新発田で泊まりです。そこでお邪魔したのは「横丁 へい」さんです。駅近でホテルからすぐ近くで便利です。土曜の18:00ごろにお邪魔しましたがお客さん多数。私は一人なのでカウンターに案内されます。メニュー見るといろいろありますが目を引いたのが鹿の串、猪の串と書いてました。ジビエ好きにとっては気になるので早速注文。あとはポリポリ頼みます。
鹿の串をいただくと臭みは全くなし！猪も脂を感じるも臭みなし。臭みで言うと鹿の方が強く感じましたがそれでも本当ほぼないに等しいくらいです。どっちかと言うと旨味と言い換えればいいのでしょうか。
お酒の種類がめっちゃ多くこれは楽しめます。ただお値段が結構お高めな感じに感じないでもないです。
しかし美味しくいただけました。
