大分市の中央町のアーケード街の２階にある餃子屋さん。どちらかと言えば飲み屋的な。店名「熱包」、ルーパオ(中国語)かと思ったら、ネッポウでもなく、ネッパオらしい。
平日の夜で、お客さんは５割り方埋まってて、大分にしては客が入ってる感じ。若い人が多い。まぁ、ちょっとウルサイです。元気があってよろしいって事で。
メニューに税込税抜きの価格が書かれてますけど、なんか分かり辛かった。
・おやじフローズンハイボール (3.5)
ハイボールにフローズンビールが泡のように乗ってます。ビールのアイスと一緒にハイボールを飲んでる感じで、ホップの苦さが良いアクセント。アリでしょう。キッチンドランカーなお酒、ドックノーズっぽくもあり、好きですね。個人的にヒット。
・熱包焼き餃子 (3.7)
一見するとお好み焼き作りかけのよう。一面羽根です。羽根を割って見ると餃子は小さめ。野菜よりひき肉が多めで、野菜はニンニクやニラの香りが強く、香ばしくパリッとした餃子に合ってると思います。こういう味なら羽根の意味を感じますね。酢醤油、塩、柚子胡椒、なにか分からないタレと、いろいろ楽しめるのも良し。見た目は奇抜さを感じますが、なかなかの実力。量が少なめなのが寂しいところ。美味しいけど高いなぁって、惜しい感じ。
・さっぱりホルモンポン酢 (3.3)
はっきりとお酢を感じる強めの酸っぱさ。酸っぱい味にモツは合いますね。臭みを消して、柔らかくまろやかな味にするお酢、もうちょっとお酢が弱いとモツ風味もして良さそうなんですが。モツ風味を嫌う人も多いので、難しいバランスかも知れないですね。
・自家製タレに漬け込んだもつの唐揚げ (4.0)
シロ(ホルモン、小腸)の唐揚げ。これ、好きだわー。脂身をこそぎ落としたシロを唐揚げにして、もっちもちなシロ。衣はカリカリ。食感良し。漬け込みはそれほど強くなく、嫌いな臭さは無く、モツ風味はホンノリ。カボスが合う。量が少ないのが残念。
頼んでから料理が出るまでけっこうかかりました。その分と言いますか、味は良いです。全体的に量が少なめなのは不満です。ガッツリなお店ではなく、軽めに食べるお店だと思います。
餃子は地域性が出やすい料理だと思います。やっぱり九州の味が好みに合います。
他のモツ料理や餃子もあったので、いろいろ試してみたくはありますね。モツ焼きは鉄板焼のスタイルで、これは特に食べてみたいところでもあります。モツは牛も豚もあるようでしたが、詳しくは分からず。
