PR for restaurants |
When it comes to authentic charcoal-grilled yakitori in Funai-cho, Kohane is the place to go.
We carefully source, prepare and serve our ingredients. Come and enjoy the time and effort put into each skewer. We have also started handling fresh fish, and our popular Seki Horse Mackerel is delive |
I was walking down Funai 5th Street in Oita City at lunchtime when I noticed a sign saying they were open for lunch, so I went there. I was shown to a private room. A man was taking orders, carrying food, and working the register all by himself. He seemed busy, and just when I thought I was sitting down, he asked me for my order, so I looked at the menu and quickly ordered. There were only three options, so it was easy to choose. They handed me cold water and towels directly. The room was dimly lit, had a stylish, dignified feel, and the music was jazzy, but the contrast with the service was a bit interesting. But it wasn't that unpleasant. I ordered chicken nanban, and the batter was crispy, the meat was soft, and the tartar sauce seemed homemade and delicious. The accompaniment of kinpira burdock was a typical commercial Side Dishes, but the miso soup was delicious, and considering the price, I think it's totally worth it. I got the impression that it's a restaurant where you can come with colleagues, friends, or couples to relax in the evening.
