On this 3 day, 2 night trip to Yufuin, I decided to stay in Yufuin for 2 nights and spend the entire day there on the second day. When it came to visiting hot springs, I could have stayed in Beppu for the second night, but as I got older, I decided to take it easy instead of going around too hard. I would like to continue using this policy for domestic travel in the future. As for the accommodation, I was quite excited as I had been holding off on traveling abroad for a while, but I was able to save a lot on transportation costs with early bird discounts, so the total cost of the trip was just a little more than I could afford. It settled down. On our return trip on the third day, we took the train (Kyudai Main Line) from Yufuin Station to Oita Station and took a walk around Oita City. I have visited Oita City twice in the last 6-7 years on business. In my Tabelog reviews, I also write about the background topics from those business trips, so if you search for the restaurant you went to and look at the reviews from that time, you'll feel nostalgic. In particular, when I was on a business trip in 2018, I attended a certain event as a representative of the organizer and gave a greeting to the organizer, during which I brought up the topic of Itai, a sumo wrestler from Oita Prefecture, in an attempt to impress. However, I had the bitter experience of my efforts being in vain (I realized that the people in Oita Prefecture probably didn't want the topic of Itai to be touched upon too much). For some reason, these memories are clearly remembered. I was reminded of this once again as I passed by Hotel Nikko Oita Oasis Tower, the venue for the event. For lunch that day, I had planned to eat squid in the shape of a squid restaurant called "[a:44000132, Ikasho]", which is close to the Hotel Nikko Oasis Tower, but when I arrived at the restaurant, I was surprised. There was a sign saying that lunch service would be suspended for the time being. I've checked on their website to see if they're still open, but it seems like they haven't been updated. Well, there's no point in counting the years of the dead child, so I immediately search for it on Tabelog app, but I can't find any restaurants in the area. However, "[a:44006635, Petit Pas]", which I had picked up as a shop for a bakery tour after lunch, was right next door, so I bought some bread there first, and then looked for a lunch spot. I decided to do so. I happened to find our store on my way to Petit Pas. The map information on Tabelog was wrong, so we couldn't find the restaurant in the app's search, but after checking the menu at the store, it seemed like it had a nice atmosphere, and my wife also... I was pretty excited, so I decided to have lunch at our restaurant before stopping at Petit Pas. Our Restaurants originally opened in Hioka, Oita City in December 2015 ([a:44008986,Basara Yostake]), and it seems to have been quite popular, but in December 2018 it opened in the city. We have moved to our current location in the center. As far as I know, the store's name, ``Basara,'' refers to the fancy clothes that were popular during the Nanbokucho period in the early Muromachi period, as well as the flashy, self-indulgent, and unrestrained behavior that goes beyond common sense. It is a word that refers to ``Basara'', but I also feel that there is a bit of flair in adding the character ``Basara'' to it. For me, it reminds me of Baba Suna, and I find it somewhat comical. The lunch menu is posted at the front of the store, but it basically looks like a plate lunch, and every menu comes with a dessert, making it a menu that seems to appeal to women. However, I also feel that the price is a little high. The store was quite busy, but we were able to enter without waiting. However, there was a wait from the customers after us, so we were lucky. I had plans after lunch, and if I had to wait, I'm sure I would have looked for another restaurant, so this is also a coincidence. Due to a series of coincidences, we were able to have lunch at our restaurant. There are 12 seats in total, including tables for 4 people and 2 tables for 2 people.In addition, there are 2 semi-private-style raised seats in the back, and there is also terrace seating at the front of the store. The weather was nice that day, so there were people taking advantage of the terrace seats. To order, I chose Preet Lunch A @ 1,650 yen from the lunch menu. Since it was crowded, I was prepared for the possibility of having to wait, but the order turned out to be about 11 minutes, which wasn't too stressful, and I was served the plate and lunch A I ordered. Ta. Plate Lunch A has a small amount of different types of side dishes on the plate, so you can enjoy it just by looking at it. The main side dishes seem to be fried shrimp and chicken cutlet, but the plate is Other filled with a fusion of Japanese and Western dishes such as salad decorated with bubbles, dashimaki eggs, sesame tofu, potato Simmered dish, simmered hijiki, and dried daikon radish. Curry and soup are also placed next to the rice, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. As for the taste, the fried shrimp and chicken cutlet were almost freshly fried, the curry was quite delicious, and the side dishes had a fresh taste overall. Preet Lunch A comes with a mini dessert, but the mini dessert was not bite-sized, but rather a solid amount of Ice cream. It was topped with caramel sauce, which was also quite delicious. I can't deny that it's a little pricey for an everyday lunch, but if you consider it as a lunch on a trip, I think it's a good value in terms of cost performance. It was the last lunch that I lost to the favorites, but my wife and I really liked it and the result was okay. This is the end of my third lunch on this trip, and I was very happy with the impression that I was able to successfully avoid any mistakes.
