お料理が評判の玉の湯さん。
奮発してみましたが、これが自分史上最高な宿だったかもしれません。
さらに部屋食にしたのも素敵で、忘れられない夕食となりました。
メインが選べて、和牛の炭火焼きをチョイス。
おおいた和牛でロースとヒレを焼き加減はレアでお願いしました。特にロースは涙が出そうになるほど感動的な美味しいお肉。
脂が醸し出す甘み、旨み、どんだけ美味しい肉なん！そしてフワフワという表現で良いのか？歯が不要な柔らかさ。
お吸物も選べて、スッポンをチョイス。
当たり前のように臭みがなく、身がたっぷり、ゼラチン豊かなお碗でした。
とっても良いお出汁が出ていて、めちゃくちゃ美味しい。和牛に続くのがスッポンだったと思います。
旅館のお料理はドバッと豪勢に出てくるイメージですが、玉の湯さん趣が異なりますね。煮物とか沢山の野菜でスタートして、鮎の塩焼きでグイッと盛り上がり、メインの和牛でノックアウトされた感じです。
