別府駅を背にして別府湾に一直線。
湾まで3/4程度進んだ国道10号線手前にあり、店名のとおり馬肉推しの店です。
競馬を嗜む身としてはあまり馬肉は口にしないほうなんですが、会津ばんげやでの出会いのように美味い酒と
一緒だとその禁忌も少し緩まないわけではないのです（グタグタ言わんと早よう食えということですな）
料理が出てくるまでは有り体な馬肉料理のレベルと軽く見ていましたが、いやいや何のなんの美味い。
どれを取っても美味い一皿で感心しました。
刺身から鍋まで、単品も充実、フルコースも6000円とお値打ち。
店名に恥じぬ品揃えとクオリティです。
先ずはハツ、コウネ、コリコリなど刺身の盛り合わせ。
大産地阿蘇を抱える九州で熊本産馬肉を謳う店は多けれど、こちらは仕入れルートが余程しっかりしているのでしょう。
処理も良いし、美味く食わせる術を知っている店ですな。
納豆にも馬肉入りでこれがまた合うこと、美味い！スタミナ付けて突っ走れてか。
★馬モツ煮込みは博多をはじめいくつも食べたものの、微妙な馬モツのクセが(それもいいのだが)消えてないことが多いなか
こちらはハイレベル！驚いた。
下処理も素晴らしいのでしょう。下手な豚ホルモン煮込みより俄然・断然・必然的に美味い。
馬フライ：初めて食べるね、フライなんて。馬肉そのものはクセがなく軽いから当然上品な仕上がり
馬タン塩焼き：牛タンは食べても馬タンは珍しい。こちらも旨味たっぷり！飽きないねぇ。
酒はもちろん焼酎をロックから後半はお湯割りで。
こちらはまた少人数でもじっくり再訪したい一軒。
