Ifuudou is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located along the street in front of Beppu Station. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere, and there are sofa seats, so you can enjoy your drinks in a very relaxing and stylish space. There is a wide variety of menu items, including yakitori and Italian Cuisine style snacks. The appetizer was deep-fried pasta, which looked very stylish. (I forgot to take a photo!) I ordered a Caesar salad and fried cartilage, and drank for a while. Both dishes went well with the alcohol and were delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very good and the food was good, but the staff were not very friendly (they spoke in a hushed voice, placed drinks and food carelessly, etc.), which was a bit disappointing. I think this is a fatal flaw in a stylish Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The person I was drinking with was very bored by this. . . Because of the above, I will give this restaurant a harsh rating.
