場所は大分県別府市。竹瓦横丁通り沿いにある小さなお店。
別府駅から歩いて行ける距離。
でも、目立たなくて意識しないと通り過ぎてしまいそう。
今回のお目当てはお気に入りの串かつのお店である流川だった。
でも満席で一向に空かないので諦め別のお店を探索。
うろうろしてると丁度同じ串かつのお店を見つけ初訪問する事に。
店内は数えられるほどしか席がなく小規模。
人によっては躊躇いそうなディープな雰囲気。
常連と思われるお客ばかりだったがカウンターが運良く空いていた。
おばちゃん2人で切り盛りしている様子。とても忙しそう。
飲み物と串を数本注文。
十数分待っても飲み物すら来ないのでやんわりと催促。
やっと飲み物が来てそこから更に十数分。
串かつは注文したものが一気に到着。
海老は身が引き締まっててぷりぷり。
チーズは中がとろ～り。豚はジューシーで良い感じ。
どれも美味しい。正直、あまり期待はしてなかったけど期待以上。
美味しかったので追加で数本注文。そしてまた追加。
お気に入りの流川に似た感じで味は負けていない。
美味しくてついつい食べ過ぎてお腹いっぱいになったよ。
別府の繁華街は小さなお店が所狭しとひしめきあっている。
そんな中で美味しくて安いお店を見つける事が出来た。
また今度行こうと思う。ごちそうさまでした。
