Today is September 4th, which means it's Kushi Day, so I'm going to talk about skewers. I went to Fried Skewers Gongo, a kushiage restaurant located in Nakayamashita, Kita Ward, Okayama City. This is the store. This time I came to have lunch. There are counter seats for about 12 or 3 people, and there are also table seats in the back, which can accommodate about 40 people. So, this time, I ordered "Yokubari Lunch 1300 yen" from this menu. As expected from a system that serves freshly fried food, the menu starts with salad, rice, miso Simmered dish, a dish of simmered kiriboshi daikon, pickled vegetables, and dessert. The dressing on the salad was homemade and it was quite delicious. After a while, Fried Skewers appeared all at once! Fried Skewers is served with salt and sauce. Fried Skewers is served on two plates. There are 11 types in total including 5 types of recommended seasonal vegetables, shrimp, asparagus, meat skewers, and specially selected skewers. The most impressive dish is the single fried asparagus. It's crunchy and sweet, and you can enjoy the flavor of asparagus. Stable shrimp skewers. This is covered with tartar sauce. There are other variations like stuffed chicken burdock and green peppers, but the pork skewers on the iron plate were the most delicious. As the name suggests, this is a greedy and filling lunch. The batter was crisp and not sticky, so even when I had it for lunch, it didn't stick to me. I was very satisfied with the variety of Fried Skewers. Wow, it was a delicious Fried Skewers lunch.
