岡山電気軌道城下駅からほど近い、天神町にある小料理屋。
カウンター10席程度と、小上がりが４テーブル程度の小さなお店ですが、
魚料理の和食を中心に、手作りのおばんざいがたくさん。
メニューも常時固定の料理と、季節に応じた旬の料理があり、
どれも やや濃い目の味付けで、ビール・日本酒に合うものばかりです。
いついってもにぎわっているのは、
店主の腕だけでなく、女将さん（奥様）の愛想の良さが一役買っているのは間違いありません。
店内の雰囲気は、常連さんが多くを占めるので、
初入店のときにはややアウェー感がありますが、
よくありがちな、決して客を差別する接客ではなく、
むしろ知らない客だからこそ「県外の人なら岡山の地のもの」「若い人ならボリュームがあるもの」等、
相手のニーズに応えるようなメニュー出しをしてくれます。
何度か通うと、他に行くのが馬鹿らしくなるような
素敵な店です。
