如月も終盤、今日は朝から陽光溢れ、暖かい岡山市内、テクテク歩いてランチに訪れたのは平和町の老舗鮨店「喜楽」さん、西川沿いの交差点角に位置する当店、褪せた暖簾や木皮がいい雰囲気出しています。
店内は厨房を囲む鍵の字型カウンター、奥には小上がりありましたがそこは居間の雰囲気です^^; カウンター後ろが極端に狭いので奥の人は手前の人が避けないと出られませんね！！
注文は「ばら寿司（1620円）」、話し好きの大将が丁寧に作ってくださいます。待つこと10分弱で完成、色味のいいばら寿司ですね！ 赤出汁も少し遅れて登場です。
鰆・海老・蝦蛄・穴子・ままかり・蛸・椎茸・レンコン等、お馴染みの具材が錦糸卵を挟んで酢飯の上にのっています。酢は甘く上品な味わい、具材はどれも吟味されたネタで美味しかったです！
地方の秋祭りでは、どこの家庭でも作られたばら寿司（岡山では祭り寿司）、最近は寿司屋さんでも見掛けることが少なくなりましたね、昔のことを思い出しながら美味しく頂きました^^
