PR for restaurants |
It is both a gallery and an atelier, a place for small encounters with people and art in your daily life, and for small, moving moments.
"A cup of encounter, a cup of life"... We hope to provide small encounters and modest emotions. We believe that the joy of eating delicious food is connected to the happiness we feel when we see somet |
It was founded in 2004, so it's been 20 years. It's a long-established cafe in Minami-ku, Okayama City. It was renovated from a large factory site, and on the same premises there is the general store Marju and the bakery Aozora. Aozora was originally a small shop in Okayama Market, but the owner of Cafe Z invited it here. It's in a residential area, but it's surrounded by plants and has a calm atmosphere. The ceiling is high and there are bookshelves. The space on the left as you enter is an art gallery. Various artists will exhibit and sell their works. Recently, I saw an announcement that Monday Z has started, so I went there. They are open on Mondays as well. This was my first time sitting at the antique sewing machine seat. On Mondays, unlike the usual menu, they serve a one-plate deli platter. The amount is a little small, but it's perfect for me because I Sweets to eat sweets. For drinks, I had blood orange juice. After the meal, I had a strawberry fruit sandwich and added some tea. There were several women who came in alone. The gallery was closed on this day. This cafe sometimes holds lessons and lectures. Please see the website for details. The J Terrace Cafe on the Okayama University campus is a branch (the menu is different). The owner of Grid Kitchen in Tamano is from Cafe Z. Unfortunately, the owner was off on Mondays, so I couldn't meet him... but the young staff were working hard. There are about 6 parking spaces in front of the store. As of April 2024, the store is closed on Tuesdays. Small art pieces are displayed here and there in the store.
