母の故郷に出かけた日に岡山在住の従姉妹が連れていってくれました。
日曜日の午後なので駐車場も満車。
席もゆったりしたソファー席はあいてなくてカウンターに別れて着席します。
使い込まれたメニューから甥っ子たちは「カルボナーラ」と「エビフライカレー」を。
母と従姉妹は「珈琲(600円)とデザートプレート(600円)」を。そして私と娘は「いちごパフェ(900円)とマンゴーパフェ(800円)」をオーダー。
お店のご主人と奥様は静かに穏やかに、そして心地よく応対して下さいます。常連のお客様が多いだろうと思われる立地に大人数でおしかけている私達には有り難かったです。
カウンターなので丁寧に珈琲をいれられている様子がわかるのですが席にカップをお持ち下さってから珈琲を注ぎ残ったポットをおいて下さいます。
十分2杯分はあるのでゆっくりできますし600円は高くないです。
関西でもパフェが人気なのでフルーツ王国のいちごパフェを期待していたらすごいパフェがきました。
たくさんのいちごに生クリームとアイスクリーム、グラノーラもあります。
甥っ子たちにお裾分けしても大満足のボリュームで価格も900円は驚きでした。
岡山でのよい想い出となりました。
