津山線沿線をウォーキングする傍ら、グルメ訪問もしました。
日曜日の17時30分を過ぎて、金川駅近くの「美津葉 本店」さんを訪問しました。国道53号線の大通りに面しているわけではなく、昔ながらの人家が立ち並んでいる通りに少し入ったところにありました。すぐ近くには、「美津葉 酒蔵店」もあります。
そのような店に、焼物、刺身、揚げ物、麺類、丼、一品、サラダ、寿司、定食等の沢山のメニューがあるわけですから、ずっと昔から地元に根ざした食堂だと思われます。
注文したのは、野菜(150円)をトッピングした醤油ラーメン(600円)とミニそぼろ丼(280円)です。
麺は特製の中細麺で、加水率が高いのでグルテンが形成されプリプリした食感があります。
スープは豚骨醤油で、キャベツ、人参、モヤシ、ネギ、玉ねぎ、シナチクの野菜と、２枚のチャーシューが入っていました。ミニそぼろ丼は結構な量があり、どの料理もコスパが良いと思いました。
