瀬戸内市ってどこなん？
思わず母に聞いちゃった。
いや～、暫く実家近辺の情報を仕入れていなかったら、近くの町がいつの間にか
カッコいい名前の市になっている。
でも、そこにある風景はな～んにも変わっとらんのじゃけどな。
というわけで、瀬戸内市にあるこちらのお店は、
日本刀「備前長船（びぜんおさふね）」の生産地でもあった旧長船町にあり、
といっても、お店は街中にあるわけではなく、こんなところにお店があるんか、
というようなところにある。
昼間はともかく、お店の場所を知らなければ、夜は絶対に辿り着けそうにない。
カーナビを頼りに、住所入力しても、電話番号入力しても、変なところに案内され、辿り着けず。
かなり迷いました。
だって、周辺、真っ暗闇なんだもん。
案内板、出てないし。
最後は結局、記憶再生がかなり怪しい「母ナビ」で。
ビニールハウスやら無人精米所やら、カーナビにはとても載ってなさそうなランドマークを頼りに
なんとか辿り着き、到着。
母によると、友人達の間で評判のお店なんだとか。
ということで、母に「連れられ」、夕食で訪問。
お店は、田舎の大きなお家を改装して作ったかのようで、
堀コタツ式の大きなテーブルが３つに、あとは宴会もできる大広間（？）。
お一人様、カップルで利用するというより、家族連れやグループで利用する形態が良さそう。
メニューには定食類が充実していたが、折角なので、「ミニ会席」(2100円)を頂いてみた。
これは、寿司、天ぷら、刺身、煮物、茶碗蒸し、という構成。
訪れたのが、ちょうどお盆の頃とあって、食材の仕入れの関係か、魚介類は冷凍もののようで
あまりいい状態とは言えなかったのが残念。
母や友人達は普段はミニ会席ではなく定食類を頂いているようなので、
今度行くなら手頃な定食を試してみようと思う。
