最近、行きつけの店で「塩」で食べてほしいというケースが増えた。蕎麦、トンカツなどで、素材の味をかみしめてほしいという店主の思いからだ。ここの店のお好み焼きもそうだ。一番のおすすめが肉玉そばで、さらにおすすめが、ソースではなく岩塩だ。最初は岩塩でキャベツや肉、そばの味わいを楽しみ、その後、ソース、マヨネーズ、激辛ソースと味変していく。初めて訪問なのでいきなりオール岩塩ではなく、岩塩とソースのハーフをオーダーした。細打ちの焼きそば麺。細切りのキャベツが甘い。塩で、という店主の思いがよくわかる。ダイナミックなソースに比べ、岩塩は上品な味わいだ。関西、広島、香川に囲まれた岡山は意外に粉もんやうどんが発達しているが、その中でも評価したいお好み焼きだ。駐車場は隣接したボウリング場と供用で、入り口でチケットを取り、店内で決済するタイプ。
