岡山駅西口から徒歩すぐの場所にあるイタリアンが中心のお店。
青春18きっぷを使って大阪から広島へ旅行した際の帰りに、途中下車して探したお店がこちらです。
開店時間とほぼ同時にやって来たため、まだお客さんは誰もいませんでした。
それでは、今回注文したメニューです。
①枝豆の燻製(480円)
塩茹でしただけの枝豆と違い、表面がカラッと乾いた仕上がりになっていて、皮は燻煙の香りがしますが、内側の豆はあまり香りを感じませんでした。
②花畑牧場のラクレット(焼野菜)(1580円)
こちらのお店イチオシのメニューだそうです。
ラクレットという大きなチーズを塊のまま加熱して、表面の溶けてきた部分をパンや温野菜と一緒にいただく、アルプスの少女ハイジにも出てくるスイス料理です。
野菜はパプリカ・茄子・ブッコロリー・ズッキーニ・じゃがいもで、店員さんが皿の上からチーズをかけてくれます。
穏やかで食べやすいチーズなので、ピザが好きな方は、一度は試してみてはいかがでしょうか。
③瀬戸内産タコのカルパッチョ(680円)
湯通ししたタコの脚を少し厚めのそぎ切りにして、酸味の効いたソースとピンクペッパーで味付けした一品。
しっかりした歯応えと旨味で、夏にはピッタリの味付けだと思います。
④バジル風味のポテトサラダ(580円)
バジルは生の葉を使ったものではなく、ジェノベーゼソースか乾燥バジルが使われていたのか、あまり強い香りはしませんでした。
もしかしたらマヨネーズが香りの邪魔をしていただけかもしれません。
しばらく経つと店内にお客さんが次々とやってきて、私一人だったカウンター席がほぼ満席となり、普通列車で大阪まで帰らなければならないこともあったため、早めにお店を出て行くことにしました。
どうやら女性客から圧倒的な支持を得ているお店のようで、肉系のメニューよりはパスタやデザートに力を入れていると思われます。
時間があれば、そちらも食べてみたかったです。
