海の幸が美味しいのが漁師直営の民宿ならば、こちらはその川魚バージョン、山の幸も豊富なアマゴ養殖場直営のお店です。
日曜日の13時過ぎ、ちょうどランチのお客さんが引けたタイミングで、オープン情報を聞いていたこちらのお店を訪問しました。
店内はアウトドア感、DIY感のある内装で、落ち着いた雰囲気です。一階は厨房とテーブル席、二階は大きなテーブルや隠れ家的なカウンター席となっています。
こちらの看板メニューのアマゴ関係も気になりながらも、今回は生パスタプレートを注文。
運ばれてきた本日のパスタは、旬の山菜であるコシアブラと同じく旬の海産物のホタルイカのパスタ！
今まで山菜というと天ぷらかおひたしばかり食べてきましたが、ホタルイカの旨味とコシアブラがもつ風味の相性が良く、美味しくぺろりといただきました。
ほかのメニューを見ても岡山野菜のピクルスや高梁紅茶などローカルな食材が目立ち、この店ならではのこだわりが感じられます。またアルコール類についてもあまり他店で見たことのない新見産のワイン「HAKUBI」など気になるものがちらほら。
パスタを食べ終わるころには喫茶のお客さんで満席となったため、追加注文はしませんでしたが、今度は夜の時間に改めて行ってみたいと思いました。
