I went drinking at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where it's easy and safe. Since I was in a town I didn't know well, had a private room, and was traveling with a young woman, I chose a restaurant with a sense of cleanliness, and because I was a colleague of mine, it didn't have an overly moody atmosphere. It's close to the station, and there's a prominent sign in front of the store. When you get off the elevator, you take off your shoes and put them in a shoe box. This was unexpected. I'm glad my female companion wasn't wearing boots. All rooms are separated into private rooms with doors, and although the upper space is connected, it has a strong sense of privacy, allowing you to relax and drink. Actually, it was the first time for the female companion Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Since the time they entered the workforce, they have rarely had drinking parties with co-workers due to the coronavirus pandemic.It's surprising that such a generation still exists. The sight of them happily looking at the menu, which includes sashimi and sake, is a sight you can only see these days. Dashi-rolled egg and fried tofu are standard Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Dashi rolls with a little sweetness and elegant grilling without burning. Fried rice cake was on top of the silken fried soup stock. I'm glad that he ate a lot of the sashimi, saying it was tasty and delicious. It's also good that it's served in a glass bowl and carefully arranged with tsuma and shiso. Pork Cutlet with demi-glace sauce, Okayama's specialty demi-katsu. It's aimed at young people, but it's interesting to be able to eat it at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). We have everything from standard Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menus to local menus, so I think this restaurant is easy to use for both locals and business travelers. Smoking is allowed inside the restaurant, and there was an ashtray on the table without having to ask. When I used it, no one was smoking nearby, and there was no odor. The great thing about the separate smoking areas is that everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.
