総社市内の仕事を片付けてランチにお邪魔したのは高梁川土手下にある「ラーメン専科 木かげ」さん、初訪問です。南側から北上すると見つかり難いようですが南下するとナビ通りでOKでした！！ 長屋風の建物に日焼けした赤い日除け看板がマッチしています。
店内は少し混沌とした雰囲気があるでしょうか、テーブル席はご近所の方々が集まって井戸端会議中、私は入り口近くのカウンター席につきます。目の前には写真付きメニュー札とシュールな小物たちが鎮座しています^^;
注文は木かげラーメン（600円）、待つこと７～８分で着丼です。スープは豚骨醤油、ガツンとくるタイプではなく甘みのある優しい味わいです。表面に浮いているのは鰹粉？、これが優しい味の要因かもしれません。麺は中サイズストレート、デフォで若干軟いです。チャーシューは小判サイズが５～６枚、脂身はなく厚みもありません。大きな木耳とシャキシャキ食感の太ネギが入っていました。
キレのある流行りのラーメンではありませんが、店の雰囲気もあって午後の一時にのんびり頂くには合っているラーメンかと思います！！
