元祖の名にふさわしいホルモンうどんの味でした。
ドライブインの流れを引き継いだ食堂であるが、定食コーナーと焼き肉コーナーの２つの大部屋を有している。
ドライブインと言えば、高速道路ができる前には、国道に適当な間隔で立ち並び、トラックの運転手以外に、付近住民にとっても外食の為の憧れの施設であった。その人気を今でも引き継いでいるようである。
随分、前に焼き肉を食べに訪れた(とても美味しかったと記憶)時以来であるが、焼き肉以外にチャンポン、ホルモンうどん、皿うどん等が特に有名らしい。
前置きが長くなったが、躊躇わず、元祖ホルモンうどんを注文。後の料理にも興味はあるが、これからも熊山登山のため香登駅には何度も訪れる機会はあるので、その時の楽しみ！
材料はうどん、ホルモン、キャベツ、玉ねぎ等で、至って簡単ではあるが、ソースには甘辛の特製タレを使っており、それは他では真似できない感じである。また、小皿にも焼き肉のタレが用意されており、焼き肉感覚でホルモンを楽しめる。次に、ホルモンは新鮮で深い甘みがあり、焼き肉屋さんならではのホルモンである。このホルモン、野菜、うどん、そして特製ソースの組み合わせが抜群によい。
因みに、ホルモンは全て、私の大好きな小腸ホルモンで、個人的なことになりますが、私が苦手としている他の部位のホルモンはなかった。
津山で、２軒のホルモンうどんを食べたことはあるが、津山ホルモンうどんとは違う種類のホルモンうどんという印象を受けた。

I was nostalgic for the taste of the Hormone Udon (902 yen) that I had eaten before, so I visited there around 4pm after walking around Bizen City. There are many popular shops around Kato Station, and the one in the center is Osakaya. It was founded soon after the war, and is open 24 hours a day, with a very rich menu. This time, I ordered another popular menu item, soy sauce champon small, and horumon udon. The champon included shrimp, pork, Chinese cabbage, carrots, onions, wood ears, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, shredded green pepper, and thin noodles. The extracts from these stir-fried ingredients combine with the pork bone soup to bring out the flavor. Hormone udon has an indescribable taste when you eat juicy small intestine hormone dipped in a special sauce. There are still many other menu items that I would like to try! In addition, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a pitcher from Bizen City who transferred from Orix to the Major Leagues, was said to have loved Yakiniku (Grilled meat) set meal.
