和気駅前、あっさりラーメン。定食もある。
岡山県和気町の方へ行く機会があって、その際のお昼ご飯に寄らせてもらった。
とんこう ラーメンを中心にした中華料理屋さんという感じ。
和気駅の南側、再開発されて新しい店舗が並ぶ中の一角にある。中もきれいだ。
お昼は、ラーメンを中心に、から揚げ、白ご飯をセットにした唐揚げ定食や、同じく酢豚定食、チャーハン定食などが、いろいろそろっている。
今日はともかくラーメンだけをオーダーした。
透き通った透明感あるスープ。それにちょっと茶色系の色が付いていて、いわゆる黄金色。
一口すすると、あっさり塩味。醤油ラーメンとのことだが、薄めの程よい塩梅だ。 セットの定食にしたら、ちょうど良く合う濃さなのかもしれない。
このスープに合う細ストレート麺。麺とスープがちょうど良い組み合わせで、おいしいですね。
取り立てて、とびきりうまい！というほどではないが、普通においしい。
行列はできないかもしれないが、毎日でも来れそうな感じだ。
寒い日、ちょっと暖まっていこうか、と思ったら、寄ってみたくなるお店である。

Wake-cho is located in the eastern part of Okayama Prefecture. It is the birthplace of Prince Wake no Kiyomaro, who appeared in social studies and Japanese history. This time, we visited the Chinese Cuisine restaurant "Tonko" in front of Wake Station on the JR Sanyo Main Line. It is located on the west side of the main local road that runs east-west in front of Wake Station along the Sanyo Main Line: National Route 374, which turns north toward Wake Station. (It is located in a place that you can almost say is in front of the station.) One of Tonko's specialty dishes is "Omu-chahan." It is fried rice topped with a fluffy egg and topped with a sauce. It was lunchtime and quite crowded. We sat at a table and ordered the Shrimp Mayonnaise Omu-chahan Medium 1,050 yen (you can choose small or large depending on the amount of fried rice). By the way, for those who like it spicy, there is also the Shrimp Chili Omu-chahan Medium 1,050 yen. It came out in about 10 minutes. Three large shrimps were placed on top of the omu fried rice, and shrimp mayonnaise sauce was poured over it. There was a lot of peppery sauce, and the fried rice was overflowing with sauce. The fried rice, eaten with the sweet and spicy sauce, was delicious on its own. I could eat as much as I wanted. The mayonnaise sauce on the plump shrimp! It was addictive. The umami of the shrimp and the sourness of the creamy mayonnaise were a perfect match. The fluffy egg was a blissful taste. And on top of that, the sauce and fried rice were super delicious! It was too good! This is an original taste of this restaurant that can't be found in the neighborhood. It seems that many customers come just for this... I enjoyed everything, including the sauce.
