昼時に寄らせて頂きました。
一番お手頃な定食（900円ほど）を注文。
いっしょに握りをお願いしましたが
「今日は出来ない」と一言。
売り切れなのか？お魚が入ってこなかったのか？
理由は定かでなく…。
相席で後から来たご夫婦が“穴子丼”を頼んだところ
「今日は終わってしまいました」
「皆さん頼まれるからすぐ無くなるんです」と。
まぁ仕方ない。か。
代わりに海鮮丼を頼むとかで
全て地元で獲れたお魚ですか？とご夫婦が尋ねると
「サーモンなど他のお魚も入っています」
「瀬戸内の魚だけでは作れないから」と。
まぁ確かにそうで、二千円しない値段でランチとはいえ
瀬戸内産だけで提供するのは大変だろう。
そのご夫婦は食べずに帰られました…
なんだか気持ちモヤモヤしながら定食を頂く。
食事している最中にペットのわんちゃんも
店内に入れて良いか？と新しいお客さんが来られた。
（無理だろうなー）と思っていたら
「他のお客さまに確認して大丈夫であればオッケーです」
ん？そんな話あるかい？
案の定「申し訳ございませんペットを一緒に…」と
店員さんが尋ねてこられたので
話半分も聞かずに駄目ですと返しました。
以上が滞在一時間弱で起きたこと。
頂いた定食は普通でした。値段相応です。
