倉敷市民会館のライブを存分に堪能したあと、倉敷市民会館から倉敷駅まで歩いて戻ることに。
商店街のアーケードを通り抜け、学生時代夜勤バイトをした倉敷郵便局の近くにあるこちらのお店を訪れてみることにした。
1990年代から、岡山・香川のラーメン特集で倉敷では必ず名前が挙がるお店の１軒。
佇まいは昭和から変わらぬ雰囲気だ。
店内に入り、カウンター席に腰掛け又一そばを注文。
すぐ後に入った常連客とともに、程なく一杯が配膳される。
醤油ベースのスープに細手もみ麺。
その上にはチャーシュー・もやし・ゆで卵・蒲鉾がトッピングされている。
岡山で昔からある風味のラーメンで、食べ飽きる事のない一杯。
最近先代がお亡くなりになったようだが、後継者がこの味を引き継ぎ続けることだろう。
