Located a 10-minute walk from Kurashiki Station, we aim to use locally produced ingredients, source seafood from nearby waters, and mainly vegetables from Okayama, Kurashiki, and neighboring prefectur |
There were some unusual skewers, such as horse liver and mushroom cheese. I've been trying to hold off on liver dishes lately (because of my triglycerides), but I was really drawn to the horse liver, so I ordered it. ...Maybe it was fried a little too much. I was hoping for it to be softer, more like liver. The mountain yam was cut thick and fried so it had a crispy texture. It was so delicious that I ate two. I ordered the stuffed eggplant, thinking it was not green pepper or lotus root, but eggplant stuffed with meat. The eggplant was hollowed out and filled with meat. There were three types of sauce: ponzu, salt, and sauce. The sauce was a mixture of Worcestershire sauce and mayonnaise, with crushed peanuts. It's on the second floor, so it's hard to find the entrance. It has an office-like door and no noren, so it's hard to tell it's a restaurant. The lighting inside the restaurant is dim, and Fried Skewers aren't particularly colorful, so I prefer it to be brighter.
