冷かけ
うどん県が本店の名店、竹清のアリオ倉敷店です。
この日は長雨の後久しぶりの晴天で気温もうなぎのぼり。
あっさりと冷かけうどんを頂きます。
入店後、うどんを注文して受け取り、トッピングと清算後に冷だし、薬味で頂きます。
奥さんはぶっかけに、注文後に揚げる玉子天と竹輪を、自分はとり天を取りました。
冷かけのせいか、弾力は抜群ですが、喉越しはイマイチ。
自分の好みは普通のかけが一番かな。
冷だしはイリコの風味たっぷりで旨しでした。

さすがの人気うどん店
日曜日のお昼過ぎにお邪魔しました。初訪問です。
倉敷駅北のアリオ倉敷1階レストランコーナーに在るうどん店です。
13時過ぎの訪問でしたが、20人ほどの行列が(^_^;)
びびって2階フードテラスに向かうも、ほぼ満席でUターンです。
諦めの境地で行列に並びますが、さすがうどん店なので回転も速く、１０分ほどでオーダーできました。
奥さんは竹清うどん5００円を、自分はかけうどん２玉３４０円にちくわ天１３０円を注文です。
うどんの種類、玉数を注文後、天ぷら類を申告し会計です。
その後、テポで茹でなおしてから薬味、出汁を入れる流れです。
この日は看板メニューのちくわ天と半熟卵の天ぷらが並んでいませんでしたが、会計後にテーブルまで揚げたてを持ってきてくれるようです。
適度な弾力と滑らかなのど越しの麺で、美味しく頂けました。
天ぷらも当然サクサクです。

In this bitterly cold weather, I want something warm ^_^; but udon is probably the best. I actually wanted to eat nabeyaki udon, but my wife requested Takesei. There was no line before 1pm on a weekday. I ordered a medium-sized udon with sauce for 520 yen and kakiage for 170 yen. My wife ordered a medium-sized Takesei udon with egg tempura and chikuwa tempura for 790 yen. The egg tempura and chikuwa tempura are served freshly fried, so they arrived a little late. The recommended heating time was about 10 seconds, but I like to shake the sauce for about 20 seconds. I smile to myself when the boiling time matches my imagination. It was smooth and delicious.
