This summer's trip is a mini group trip with 6 adults and 5 children (elementary school age to infants) to enjoy the scenery of the Setouchi coast of Okayama. Every year, for dinner on family trips, we make reservations at local Restaurants or Japanese-style restaurants to enjoy local cuisine, but this year's abnormally high temperatures were unbearable, so we decided to use Restaurants in the hotel. Dinner time at Sunset, a large Restaurants with 120 seats on the first floor of Diamond Setouchi Marine Hotel, is a buffet-style restaurant with everything, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, Sushi, pasta, udon, dim sum, Dim sum, etc., with the main focus on "freshly grilled teppan Steak corner" and "freshly caught sashimi" cooked directly by the Restaurants. Since we visited on a Saturday, a hula dance show started on the open terrace by the sea, and the children were delighted by the unexpected happening. The hall staff provided hotel-style service with no particular problems, and since there are many families with children, their detailed response is also appreciated. The restaurant is dark and the images are unclear, but here are just a few of the dishes that each family member chose to suit their tastes. (We refrained from taking photos as the restaurant was full.) The kids were crazy about the desserts and Chocolate fountain! They seemed very satisfied with the amount and variety of fruit, Ice cream, Japanese Confectionery, cakes, and more than usual. For Warthog, it would be ideal to be served each dish one by one, but sometimes a lively and chatty family dinner isn't so bad.
