備前の町から宇野に向けシーサイドドライブ。宇野の町手前にふと現れた町中華屋さん「台湾料理 天福」さん。ランチタイムでもあり、気になったので、ハンドルを左に切ってパーキング。お店に入ります。
庶民的な雰囲気のお店は、ランチメニューも豊富。日替わりメニューもあり、一品を選んでランチメニューにする仕組みもあり、私は「油淋鶏」をランチメニューにします。メインメニューの麺類も選べ、「台湾ラーメン」をチョイス。その他副菜や食後のコーヒーもついてくるなど、豪華版。ボリュームもたっぷり。
まず、「台湾ラーメン」から。ピリ辛ですが、食べ進むと甘みを感じるスープは、名古屋の有名店を思い出します。違いは辛さとミンチ肉の量かな。
メインメニューの「油淋鶏」は、大きな鶏肉の身がカリッと揚がっていてジューシー。甘辛のタレも鶏肉に馴染んでいます。また、ご飯にあいますね。
これだけの内容で千円しないコスパもありがたい。プラスチックコップで出てくる珈琲はご愛嬌。
