Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture. It is a city with a population of about 50,000 people located on the western edge of Okayama Prefecture. The local Ramen, Kasaoka Ramen is characterized by its simple flavor, using chicken chicken meat and a soy sauce base. I've always wanted to try the real thing, and finally I went! However, this is more of a traditional Japanese restaurant than a Ramen shop... It is ranked number one in the Kasaoka Ramen rankings on Tabelog. It is located on the first floor of Sanyo Ryokan. Kasaoka Ramen is 600 yen. It has a light, sweet soy sauce soup and medium-thick straight noodles. And the chewy chicken meat is probably its biggest feature. And it's reasonably priced. It's simple and delicious. I recommend this dish to those who like soy sauce Ramen and those who want to try Kasaoka's local Ramen.
