Always delicious
This is my fourth time at Shimaya and I had been looking forward to it even before making a reservation. Of course, it is one of the few restaurants that is worth paying the highway toll for. Every year I get excited thinking about what I will be able to eat this year, and this year again I had the evening menu for lunch. I arrived a little early but was relieved to hear that it would be completely fine. The hospitality is also wonderful. I started this year with sashimi - salted Spanish mackerel, delicious! Flatfish and horse mackerel, it's summer. Yubara-produced gamecock carpaccio, sour taste, cold corn soup, light and sweet Fried Skewers, summer vegetables (onion, okra, tomato, eggplant), tomato was delicious even without anything on it, fig, real gizzard, this was also great, Kagoshima-produced black hair beef Steak sauce was very delicious, gamecock meat, melon, cucumber, corn, sweet cherry tomatoes, Daruma sea bream tomato sauce, this also had shrimp in it and the broth was good, and the spicy and simple taste of the sea bream became a deep flavor, it was delicious and made me want to eat pasta. Vinegared dish eggplant, cucumber, myoga, wakame seaweed, white clam, beef tendon fried rice, optional, I tried it before and it's my favorite, it was delicious and light to eat, the soba noodles at the end were thinly sliced and I like it, the dessert was creme brulee, It was richer than the French cuisine Restaurants I ate at the other day, but not too sweet and cloying. It was also very delicious with plenty of vanilla beans. Even the dessert was delicious. I'm glad I came here. I told my friends about it and they liked it too. I'm so happy. I'll be back next year. 高速代を払っても行くお店
毎年夏に米子へ来るのでその度に高速代を払って来ていますがいつも満足度が高くおいしかったなぁと思える数少ないお店です
去年はアラカルトで頼み子持ちの素晴らしいハタハタがとても記憶に残っています
今年は¥3500のコースで頼んでみました
コスパとがても良くて全て美味しい創作料理で連れも大喜びして舌鼓を打っています
食器も洗練されて洒落ています
接客もスムーズでテキパキと明るい美人さんで気持ち良いです
今回もご馳走さまでございました

This is my fifth time at Shimaya. I decided to drop by with my younger brother at lunchtime. I took a day off work on a weekday and took the highway, as usual. It's been very hot this year, so I didn't feel like just dropping in, but since it's cloudy today, I took the chance and went. When I go to Shimaya, I always feel good. I like driving, but what's even better is being able to eat delicious food. Today I had my first lunch, Tempura soba. I took a seat in the back. I'm glad the lovely lady here remembered me. It seems that soba is the norm for lunch, and the tempura at Tempura soba came with a rare grouper. It had a fluffy and crispy texture, and was slightly sweet and delicious. The salt really brought the flavor to life. I wonder if they were thinking of adding yellow peppers. There used to be a moss green chair smaller than the one in ours in the restroom, but it wasn't there this year. When we came out, they kindly gave us a creme brulee. I was so happy. My younger brother was also very satisfied. "It's delicious, there's so much vanilla." He kept saying how delicious it was. Of course, the dessert is the best part of the meal.
