津山にやってきた。
ＪＲ駅に降り立ったものの、あまりお店が空いていない。橋を渡ってうろうろしたが、あまりこれといった店が無い。
結局駅まで戻ってきて、駅前のこちらの店へ。昼は食堂、夜は居酒屋として営業しているようで、名物「津山ホルモンうどん」の看板が目を引く。
店内はカウンターのみのようだが、奥には座敷がある模様。
生ビールに、ホルモンうどん、コロッケ、厚揚げを注文。
生ビールで喉を潤すと、ご主人がカウンター越しの鉄板でホルモンうどんを炒めはじめた。良い匂いが漂う。
真っ先にホルモンうどんが到着。津山といえばホルモンうどんというくらいに有名になった。焼きうどんにホルモンが入っているだけだが、このホルモンが美味しい。やや辛めの味付けもビールに良く合う。
コロッケは、揚げたてでホクホク。厚揚げもシンプル。
お腹一杯になった。
今日はビール一杯だけでちょっと我慢。
