那覇市の国際通りから徒歩15分ほどのところにある栄町市場。昼は市場、夜は飲み屋街に変貌する。ローカルな沖縄を感じられる栄町市場の場外にお店を構える「新小屋」に訪問。

炭で焼いた串焼きは絶妙な焼き加減、塩加減で提供される。今回は2件目の訪問だった為、3種類しか注文しなかったが、多分どの串も美味しいだろう。是非次は他の串も食べてみたい。
